Always Eat After 7 Pm Pt. 4
This post is sponsored by Joel Marion. All opinions are our own.

Nothing works if you don’t implement it. You have to learn and implement. That’s honestly my philosophy in life and business.

“Always Eat After 7 pm is a three-phase program that teaches you how to lose big by strategically eating big when you are naturally hungriest in the evening. This may sound too good to be true, but let me assure you it is no gimmick. It’s all about making strategic and smart food swaps, and you can still eat your favorite foods,” says Joel Marion, author of Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight.

Marion really does mean it’s a lifestyle change. There is no gimmick. There’s recipes for Cherry Garcia Ice Cream aka my favorite ice cream available. You’re not giving things up and depriving yourself.

When you deprive yourself of the things you want, that’s when you slip up and binge. You fall off the wagon. You don’t make the changes.

You end up right where you are now or even worse off.

The recipes in Marion’s book and chapter on Mindset make this not a yo-yo diet but a lifestyle change.

Simple changes Marion makes like making your bed first thing in the morning can seriously change your day. Sounds so simple but so effective.

What makes me feel so confident is that the last half of the book covers the after part. You know the part most “diets” leave off.

It covers how to make this a permanent change after hitting their ideal weight. While I am clearly not there now, I am working hard toward that goal. I feel confident I can do it and I can do it without sacrificing everything I enjoy.

Marion included so many recipes that I know I’ll never get bored in the kitchen now.

Yes, that list includes things like dessert and pancakes.

It also covers late-night snacking. You know, what I need to watch more episodes of McSteamy and McDreamy. Marion says in the book, “Almost every other diet plan would tell you that after dinner, the kitchen is closed until the next day. Well, not this plan. The no-snacks rule is one you should definitely break if you want to bust cravings and keep burning fat overnight.”

I told you it was sustainable!

I learned a lot from Joel during this last month and I am excited to continue to learn from him. It’s a constant process to learn and implement so I can’t imagine I’ll be done with this journey anytime soon.

You can go on this journey too!
