Women's Rights Begin in the Womb
Ah, the Feminists, my favorite people. What I love the most about Feminists is that on the surface it sounds like a great idea. It sounds like it’s about women supporting women. It sounds like it’s about people supporting people. It appears to be about equality amongst the sexes. That sounds great except that’s not actually what the movement is about.
Unfortunately, the radical Left has taken over the Feminist movement which has turned it into an anti-Conservative and anti-women movement. If you don’t fit the narrative, you can’t sit at the table. It reminds me of that quote from Mean Girls’ “you can’t sit with us,” if you don’t fit the narrative.
The Left will tell you that Feminism is about supporting women but it’s really about supporting women they approve of. That means you must be pro-baby murder, LGBTQ+ ally, anti-Christian, Democratic Socialist (not that this is even a thing), anti-Second Amendment, anti-facts, etc. The list really could be a mile long. If you are a white female that voted for Donald Trump, is straight, Christian, married, a mother, a homemaker, etc. then you are part of the patriarchal problem with society and have been brainwashed and actually should not get a voice. I have been called a gender traitor for being a Conservative. An atrocity to women. Someone who should not be allowed to raise children. You should scan Medium right now because you’ll find dozens of articles discussing how “White Feminism” is the core of White Supremacy. It’s all ludicrous when you think about it because it’s furthering the divide, which is really what the Main Stream Media controlled by the Left wants anyway.
I could fill pages with articles here about “white feminism,” and all this does is further create a division amongst those trying to make some sort of progress in the name of equality.
Which leads me to the point of this whole piece.
I originally wrote this on Women’s Equality Day. In 1920, it was ratified that women could vote. We celebrate 99 years of women voting! Which is amazing. Our ancestors fought for something incredible. For our voices to be heard and matter. It is because of that right we have the conversations we have today.
The other day Alyssa Milano, on her podcast, mentioned that she had not one, but two, abortions and said this, “my life would be completely lacking all its great joys.” She claims her two abortions in 1993 gave her the freedom to be prepared to have a lucrative acting career and her perfect marriage and children she is now ready for. What she said is most important is she now has a platform to fight against oppression.
I’ll be really honest with you, the great joys of the world are children. It is God blessing you with children but we’ll get to that part in a second.
What I don’t understand here Alyssa is 1. what oppression you speak of since you were able to get two abortions in one year and 2. how the Feminist movement can claim to care about women but never give the women inside the womb a chance?
If you truly want to fight for the right of both sexes, you need to fight for all life and life begins at conception. The problem with the pro-murdering baby argument is that there is no science to back the pro-choice argument. If you believe that life does not begin at conception, then at what point, does it begin? At what point do you say that the life inside the woman is now a person? Where is the threshold? Is there a threshold that must be crossed or a set of criteria that must be met to be considered a life?
Taking my faith out of it, because I know most of you reading this won’t share my Christian values, I’ll share something from the American College of Pediatrics on when life begins. This is from a paper they published in March of 2017:
The predominance of human biological research confirms that human life begins at conception — fertilization. At fertilization, the human being emerges as a whole, genetically distinct, individuated zygotic living human organism, a member of the species Homo sapiens, needing only the proper environment in order to grow and develop. The difference between the individual in its adult stage and in its zygotic stage is one of form, not nature. This statement focuses on the scientific evidence of when an individual human life begins. The American College of Pediatricians concurs with the body of scientific evidence that corroborates that a unique human life starts when the sperm and egg bind to each other in a process of fusion of their respective membranes and a single hybrid cell called a zygote, or one-cell embryo, is created.
Science backed by a team of doctors admit that life begins the moment of conception.
Alyssa Milano was not oppressed when she murdered her children. She is not oppressed now when she fights to continue to murder children in the womb.
On Women’s Equality Day, I ask you to think of the womb. Think of those who cannot voice their opinions yet. Those that don’t have the freedom to fight yet. Those who are counting on us to make the right choices for them. Just as we now view a world where women could not vote as reprehensible and the attitudes and behaviors that allowed this to happen as repugnant, we will view those that fought to murder children as barbaric.
We will wonder why we even debated that women’s rights didn’t begin in the womb.
So ask yourselves, who really is the gender traitor here?
